01 / About us

IFD S.r.l. · Bespoke furniture

Your partner in
bespoke furniture.

Designed for the space.
Made for the project.

IFD S.r.l. develops and manufactures bespoke furniture for hotels, commercial spaces and contract interiors. We work alongside architects, clients and businesses, turning designs into furniture, complementary pieces and coordinated fit-outs.

Technical development and in-house manufacturing are part of the same process. We define dimensions, materials, finishes and construction details, then manufacture the furniture in our workshop using timber and solid surface materials.

From the first discussion through to installation, we coordinate production, logistics and assembly, keeping design, craftsmanship and the finished space closely connected.

02 / From the first discussion to installation

A shared project.
A complete process.

Four connected stages, with ongoing dialogue between the design team, workshop and client. Each decision helps take the project through to installation.

01

Consultation and site survey

We review drawings, spaces and requirements. We clarify quantities, materials and construction methods to define the elements to be made.

02

Technical development

We define dimensions, finishes and construction details, bringing the design concept together with the manufacturing processes it requires.

03

In-house manufacturing

Machining, assembly and finishing take each piece through our workshop, from individual items to coordinated furniture packages.

04

Delivery and installation

We organise logistics and installation, coordinating the elements through to their final positioning and assembly.

03 / Manufacturing and craftsmanship

Materials take shape.

Machining, assembly and finishing turn the agreed design into furniture ready for installation.

03 / Craftsmanship and materials

Material, form.
Character.

Materials and finishes are developed in response to the design and use of each space. Technical development connects these choices with production methods, bringing coherence to the individual pieces and the overall interior.

Timber and surfaces

We work with solid timber, veneers and veneered, melamine-faced or laminate-faced panels. Surface choices are developed alongside dimensions and construction details to create reception desks, lounges, bars, bedrooms and suites to the project specifications.

Coatings and lacquer finishes

Coatings and lacquer finishes complete the furniture to the project specifications. Colours and finishes are chosen in relation to the materials and surrounding surfaces, so that every component belongs within the overall interior.

Solid surface

We create bespoke solid surface elements based on the specified design. Junctions, joints and surface details are developed to connect the intended form with its manufacture and integration into the furniture.

Prototyping for brands

We develop bespoke elements and prototypes for furniture brands. We refine shapes, materials and finishes, turning the design discussion into a physical piece and resolving the details that determine how it will be manufactured.

Reception areas, bars, bedrooms and shared spaces each call for specific solutions. These photographs show how materials, proportions and construction details come together in IFD’s completed projects.

For businesses and brands

From a single piece.
To a coordinated fit-out.
